Matthew Hinton,
Executive Assistant 

Matthew Hinton serves as the Executive Assistant for The Shades of Wellness. Matthew has worked in the customer service/administration field for over 15 years. He is a licensed realtor in the state of MD with over 8 years of experience. His knowledge, expertise, friendly, and personable demeanor are unmatched. Matthew works very closely with our CEO, Emily Wilkins with recruitment, collaborations, event planning, etc. He fully dedicates himself to everything going on behind the scenes here at The Shades of Wellness. From phone calls, email communication, event assistance, and more. Matthew truly does it all. We are so grateful to have him on our team. 

Kadain Wallace,
Events Manager

Kadain Wallace serves as the Events Manager for The Shades of Wellness. Kadain is a special educator by trade but always had an eye for event planning. As young as the age of 10 years old, Kadain was able to plan a surprise birthday party for her favorite Science teacher. Once she got the approval and support from other school personnel, who ensured that the event would remain a surprise, Kadain went into full planning mode. She coordinated with her classmates and their parents to bring in a list of items needed for the celebration and decorated for her first successful event. Ever since that moment, Kadain has had the tenacity to host and curate a plethora of events from baby showers, birthdays, graduations & so much more.

Sierra Shepherd,
Writer 

Sierra Shepherd serves as a writer and editor for The Shades of Wellness. Sierra isa a media personality hailing from the Nation's capital, the DMV area! Sierra gained her footing in media as a style blogger, and podcast host -- and now is Community + Memberships  Manager for Black Girls in Media LLC, and contributor and media correspondent for Jenleeion Magazine. With an undying passion for curating conversations, Sie contributes articles surrounding the millennial women's experience.
