My name is Dr. Dua Abu-Mahfouz and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I received my degree at Howard University. I work with patients of all age groups and backgrounds, athletes, physically active individuals recovering from injury, and individuals who may be experiencing chronic pain conditions. My focus is to help improve the quality of life of my clients through movement and mobility. My treatment approaches include a focus on manual therapy interventions targeting soft tissue restrictions through various techniques including dry cupping and myofascial release. I work one on one with my clients to develop a meticulous and tailored exercise/movement program that meets the client's needs. My goal is to meet my patient’s goals. I focus on patient education to promote independence and self awareness. My mission is to help injured athletes and active individuals return to what they love to do. Also decrease chronic pain that a patient may be experiencing for an extended period of time, and help promote confidence in my client's abilities so that they can thrive in all aspects of their lives.
